Two Emotions

These men are real
hearts finding spasm ecstasies

sun-handled
marionettes acting parts

little birds
abiding by nest rules

heads up for
mother's snip-dropped worms.

2.

The women are real
minds of southbound moons

directing pulses
of prop room puppets

all night
mindful playwrights

queer wolves
howling forlorn couplets

lost on all
but the lonely lost.
