Fake Journal

This illustration is part of a book I am making called Fake Journal. The book functions as an imaginary journal containing the reflections, memories and impressions of a young man who has recently exited a long relationship with a young woman. 

The breakup and life before it make up the material of the journal. It's fiction. The pages alternate between text and illustrations that convey various moods, states of mind, the young man's feelings and imaginings as he recounts various incidents in writing.

This thing is very enjoyable to create.
